He peered cautiously into the darkness, not knowing what was waiting for him as he slowly began to walk forwards. Bit by bit, features of the upstairs hall of the old eerie house, unveiled themselves to Chris’s eyes and as they did, he walked further into the darkness. It was as if Steven had vanished...Disappeared from the face of the earth. Chris called out.


“Steven!” – Nothing.

“Steven where are you? ... It’s dark, I don’t know where you went!”. – Still no reply.


Chris now began to panic as the walls seemed to close in around him. The darkness getting ever closer. Closing. Gathering around him. His mind got the better of him. He began to hear things, see things, feel things! Chris was suddenly very uncomfortable. He was properly scared. He tried calling out again.


“Steven come on now, this isn’t funny anymore! Just tell me where you are!”


Again no reply returned from the darkness. His head was spinning and he was becoming disorientated quickly. He couldn’t see a thing. He tried to look for the staircase but it wasn’t visible to him.


“Steven!”

“Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” Chris screamed at the top of his voice.


A fantastic burst of unbelievably bright light blasted into Chris’ eyes. He squinted, trying desperately to adjust! What he saw next left him amazed!

Calling All Writers 10 on XNXX.

I am currently working on an entry for the latest CAW (Calling All Writers) competition on xnxx. You may remember that my last story "Short Term Relationship" was also written as an entry for a CAW competition. That was for CAW 9, and now CAW 10 is underway so I am giving it a go. The theme is "THE BEST" and I am supposedly writing a gay horror story for my entry, I don't know how successful it will be as I've never written a horror before, but hopefully all will be good and you will enjoy it :). I'm still unsure on what name I am going to give to my story, but I am thinking something along the lines of "Creature of the Night". What do you think?

Of course this does mean that for the time being, the other new stories which I have been working on have been put temporarily on hold, but don't worry, I will pick them up again as soon as my CAW 10 entry has been written. So anyway, I hope you will read my entry once it has been entered into the competition, and hopefully you will like it enough to vote for it in the poll. I will post links and details at a later date here on the blog so that you are up to date. :)

Current Writing Progress.

So just to give you a quick update on how things are going with the writing of my next story. The story is progressing slowly, I feel that what I have written so far is good and I think that when the story is finished it's going to be a good one. Unfortunately I have other personal commitments currently which is why I am not finding the time to write much. It's difficult to find the motivation to write when there are other things which I need to concentrate on. Also, it seems that current interest in the type of stories which I write is relatively low, and so it probably won't do any harm for the submission of the new story to be delayed anyway. However, I am still writing little bits here and there and the story is still on track to be a good one which I hope you will eventually enjoy reading. That's about all I wanted to say right now, I will keep you updated on any further progression and of course, as soon as it's nearing completion you can expect to see lots more details including a short preview of it right here on the blog at webcamwriter.blogspot.com :).

Hey everybody, it's now officially 2012! Whatever your plans are for the year ahead, whatever your resolutions are, I hope you have a fantastic year!

I have picked up where I left off with the writing of my next new story and it's going well. I'd like to thank everyone who has read, commented and rated "Short Term Relationship", the feedback has been very positive overall so I'm happy with it and am grateful for your feedback and I'm very happy that you enjoyed the story!

New Posts.

Just to quickly update you on some new posts I have made online.

Firstly, my new story "Short Term Relationship" has now been submitted to agaysex.com and I have been informed that it should be available for you to read there on Friday 9th December 2011. I will post the link here on the blog when it goes up :). I'm looking forward to this greatly! I can't wait to hear from readers there.

Secondly "Help! - The Full Story" has now been posted on the xnxx forum here. It has some lovely new formatting and even a splash of colour for you to enjoy :D. You can also rate the forum thread and leave me a comment there if you wish to do so.

And finally, I'd like to say a BIG thank you to "helena" who has kindly voted for "Short Term Relationship" in the CAW 9 writing competition on xnxx! I'm very greatful for all of the comments and feedback which readers have left for me and I'm glad that people seem to be enjoying it.

Short Term Relationship Now Online!

Good news! My new story "Short Term Relationship" is now finished and is available to read online on the xnxx forum, It will soon be available on the xnxx stories site and I will also be submitting it to agaysex for the next time they post all of their new stories. :-D I'm so excited to find out what you all think of it! I will keep you updated on where and when it is available for you to read as it is added to the listings in other places online. Thank you for your support and I hope you enjoy my new story!

Change Of Plan.

Due to bad timing, my new story "Short Term Relationship" will no longer be available on agaysex before it is available elsewhere. The good news is that I have now finished writing it completely - hooray! :-D haha. So tomorrow I am going to give it a read through and check it over, before making any changes which I might feel the need to make. And as soon as I have double checked it and I am happy with it, I am going to submit it to both agaysex and xnxx at the same time. I am hoping to enter it into a competition over at xnxx, for which it will need to be submitted before 30/11/2011. So the likelihood is that it will probably be available first at xnxx. I will be sure to notify you all here on the blog as soon as it is available for you to read, with a link to it so that you are able to find it easily :-). I can't wait to find out what you all think of it!

"Short Term Relationship" - Cover Art.

So I mentioned breifly before that my new story "Short Term Relationship" will have it's own cover art. This is a first for me, so I hope you like it. I feel that it just adds to the story and it helps to give it character and make it more individual. So anyway, this is the cover art for my new story :) :

"Short Term Relationship" - The Writing Process.

It's Wednesday, so today I'm going to tell you about how I feel the writing process has gone overall for my new story "Short Term Relationship".

To be honest with you, this story has been the most enjoyable story I have ever written. I have enjoyed every second. It's taken a while, but then I always take a long time to write my stories because I am naturally a slow writer. I have no idea why but that's just the way it is. So yes, if I had to say one thing which I found difficult about writing this one, it would be finding the time to write it. Although it's a one part story and not a series, it's still relatively substantial, compared say to a part of one of my series, it's considerably longer. Oh, well there is one other thing which I did find tricky at times. When you do read the story, it will jump to your attention that the nature of the main character, and the way he speaks in particular is different to anything I have tried to write before. Sometimes it was difficult to translate my thoughts into his words, as he is the one talking to you when you read it, not me. I got stuck a few times with that trying to get the right wording and stuff, but only a few times.

Aside from those small details though, it has flowed beautifully right from my brain, down my arms, through my fingertips, into the keyboard and onto the screen of my laptop. I have never found a story easier to write. Hopefully that will show through when you read it! I think it's gone well, and I personally am very happy with the story itself, although it isn't quite finished yet so I suppose I could still mess it up at the end haha. I will try my best not to I promise!

As I mentioned before in my last post, I started writing it because of the scene I witnessed in a cafe by the beach back in the summer, which got my mind working and inspired me to write a story about it. However, I actually started working on it after I had already started on my other new story, my next big series which I will tell you more about at a later date ;). I had started writing the big one, when I realised that it is probably going to take me quite a while to get that finished (although I am still writing it and am now about half way through!). So I decided that I needed a short one off story to bridge the gap in time between my last series "I Don't Want The World I Want You!" and my next one. Whilst fishing around for an idea for a one off story, I suddenly remembered the scene in the cafe and bingo! I had my story.

So yes, to summarise, I feel the writing process has gone very smoothly indeed with only one or two very small reletively insignificant issues along the way. I am very happy with the story as it stands and I simply cannot wait to get it posted online! I'm so excited to hear what you all think of it! New Story Info!

Ok, I know you’ve all waited a long time for this since the launch of my last new story “I Don’t Want The World, I Want You!”, but the time has finally come for me to officially announce that there will be a brand spanking new Web Cam story launched over the coming weeks! Exciting isn’t it? You may have seen my recent post about the plan for what is going to happen this week. If you have not read it yet, you can see it on my blog homepage, just below this blog post. So as you can see on the plan, the purpose of today’s blog post is to give you all some basic background information on the new story.

So, first thing’s first, the name! I can officially tell you that the name of my next new story will be “Short Term Relationship”. Now, what’s it about I hear you ask? Well, it’s about a short term relationship hahaha! The clue is in the title. It is written in the first person perspective as if the main character, who mysteriously has no name, is talking directly to you- the reader. Now obviously I don’t want to give away too much of the actual storyline, so I can’t go into too much detail on the actual story itself. I will tell you though that what this mystery man does tell you, will keep you interested and entertained from start to finish, and with any luck, he may even turn you on a little! ;)

What inspired me to write this story? Well I visited a beach earlier this year when it was hot and sunny, I think it was sometime in early August, or possibly even at the end of July. While I was there I was at a café having a bite to eat when I noticed two young men looking at each other across the room from their separate tables. They seemed to just keep looking at each other for a while until eventually one of them stood up and went and sat down at the other guy’s table. Between eating my fish and chips I occasionally looked over at them because I was curious as to what was going on between them. They clearly were getting along well with one another. Before I had a chance to finish my meal they got up and left together, still talking and smiling with each other. I couldn’t help but think about them for the rest of that day, wondering what they might have gotten up to after they had left. So I decided to use my imagination and make it up, so I started writing a story about it. And a few months later, here we are! :)

So anyway, now you know a little bit about it, and I hope I have caught your interest with this brief introduction to “Short Term Relationship”. Plan For Next Week - Exciting Stuff!

Hi again everybody, here I am at home on my laptop, it's early in the morning and I'm having a little think about the week ahead and what I have planned. I have a feeling it's going to be an exciting week in the world of Web Cam because one of the main stories which I have been working on recently is almost finished, hooray! Although there are not too many readers using the blog yet, it is at least set up and ready to go. So, I thought I'd put it to use right away, and give you guys and girls a chance to see how I plan to use it in the future. So basically what I'm going to do here is write up a provisional schedule type plan for the next 7 days, and tell you what I plan to do on each day. Please remember that it is only a plan so any part of it may change at any time, maybe because of a delay or something, you know how these things go :). So anyway, here goes:

• Monday 7th - *Tell you all a little bit about the story, what it's called, what it's about, why I wrote it, who are the characters etc.
• Tuesday 8th - *Blog promotion. *Continue writing of the story itself (not on the blog ;p).
• Wednesday 9th - *Report on how I feel the writing of the story has gone overall, what I found difficult about writing it, what I thought went well with it...
• Thursday 10th - *Break day - even us writers need a rest you know haha. ;)
• Friday 11th - *Post the story cover art. (New!), this story will have a front cover like you would find on a real book with a title, an image etc. *Blog and story promotion. *More story writing.
• Saturday 12th - *Announce the date by which I plan to have the story completely finished, checked, edited and submitted to be posted online! *Announce where you will be able to read it first.
• Sunday 13th - *Post a preview/taster of the new story right here on the blog. Exciting! 

So there we have it! That's my plan for the week. Remember, the more people who show an interest in the blog, the easier and more worthwhile it is for me to keep telling you about my work, so anything you can do to spread the word about the blog is greatly appreciated! Tell your friends about it, sign up, subscribe, comment on the blog posts, the stories, internet forums and make as much noise as you possibly can :). It all really does help alot and I'd be very grateful indeed! So anyway, we have an exciting week ahead of us, so I'd better get cracking with my preparation.
